Limelizard is very much a family run company with an interesting beginning.
My husband was reading books by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer and found them inspirational and life changing. Whilst on a driving holiday to Queensland we stopped at a tourist attraction just outside Byron Bay and found the book 'Incredible You' by Dr. Wayne Dyer. It was written for children and was designed to assist with their self-esteem. It was the only book of it's kind in an unusual location, and obviously we were meant to find it! It was an instant hit with our then 5 year old daughter - who still loves reading it 4 years later!
We felt that if we had trouble finding this type of book, then other families may be encountering the same and decided on that holiday to start Limelizard!

We have now expanded to cover areas including Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils, Inspiration, Self-Esteem, Health, and day to day issues such as bullying amongst children and teens. We are currently in the midst of expanding our health section. We know first hand how challenging it is to have a child with food intolerances and allergies, and want to be able to provide any tools we can to others who have allergies/intolerances whether it be an adult or child.
I feel this is truly our path, and also witnessed first hand the power of positive thinking when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer 2 years ago. Following a harrowing time of operations, complications, radiation treatment, and time away from my children, I used as many resources from our inspirational section as I could and it made it all that much easier.
We truly want to help you bring inspiration and wellbeing to yourself and your family/friends. With that in mind we ensure that shopping on the internet doesn't mean that you should compromise choice and quality. We choose very carefully the products that are available for you to purchase. You won't find anything on our website that we wouldn't want to have in our own home, or give to our own friends and family.
We source only the best quality products, and are confident in everything we choose.
We are especially proud of the Young Living Essential Oils range, and the healing we have witnessed whether it be general health, skin cancers, children's health including behavioural issues, and much more! Our oil customers also enjoy regular education to ensure that those precious bottles don't just sit on shelves at home, they get used for everything nature intended!
The response to our educational events has been amazing and they are expanding quickly. We have been able to help families in the Macarthur area with Stress, Anxiety & Emotional Healh, Women's Health, Children's Health, and much more! The Children's Health talk in particular has been embraced by many with lots of preschools, and other educational facilities booking us in. We have the fantastic support of Naturopath Nathan Forbes, and together we are slowly educating, inspiring, and assisting parents in changing the way children eat in Macarthur. We don't limit ourselves to this area though and have been approached by many other areas to bring our education to them!
This year also saw the opening of our very first Limelizard Showroom! Currently open 2 days a week, and other days by appointment, customers can come in, sit down, browse, and find inspiration! We also run 'Zyto Compass' scans which will ask your body exactly what it needs in the way of nutritional supplements and essential oils!
We also take our mobile shop to special events. We have also selected Cobbitty Markets, NSW, as a regular place for our customers to come and visit us and see a selection of our products. Simply check our Event Calendar for upcoming events.We love it when our customers visit so if you attend a special event make sure you come up and introduce yourself!
